Summary
Rosie dies, and Sam begins to say goodbye to his thirteen children before sailing to Valinor. On the way, he meets Gildor Inglorion. Meanwhile, in Valinor, Frodo makes friends (and social missteps) and hangs out with Bilbo.
“It was not very long after Rosie died that Sam began the long goodbyes.
He spoke to Tolman – Tollers – first. He was the youngest, after all. He looked nothing like his second namesake, Rosie’s brother. He favoured, alone of Sam’s children, the original Tolman Cotton, his grandfather: dark eyes, dark hair, strong hands. Like most of Sam’s children, he had never met his father’s old friend, Frodo Baggins.
‘What do you mean, you will go to the Undying Lands?’
Sam caught the kettle before Tollers could drop it.”

Summary
Elrond and Elros did not expect to find themselves captured by the enemy after the attack on Sirion. Neither did they expect that the enemy would be so... complicated.
*
""Three fathers had I who now have none.
One in the earth and one in the sky.
And one sunk in sea as a stone.”Elrond paused. Then he laughed softly.
“And my mother, of course,” he added. “A bird of the air, as she became. But that is less of a grief to me now than it was.”"
*Updates very irregular.
