Summary
Belos sighed, more disappointed than anything else. Why, after so many years, after being disciplined every time he acted out, did Philip insist on playing games like these? For such a brilliant young man, he never seemed to truly learn the lessons Belos tried to drill into that head of his. “You,” he said slowly, “take delight in vexing me.”
“You take delight in murdering your brother’s clones,” Philip snapped back. “It’s not like the choice actually matters. In two months they’ll all be dead.”
In which, fourteen years before the events of canon, a teenage Philip Wittebane has a mishap with Titan's Blood, ends up in a different timeline, and very much does not want to be here. Unfortunately for him, Belos does want him here, and if there's anything he's learned in fourteen years it's that Belos gets what he wants.
Except when it comes to the Day of Unity. He won't succeed in that.
He will not.

Summary
“I… I know we’re supposed to take things slow. I don’t want to push you toward anything, it’s just- it feels like you’re just stuck right now. Not getting worse, but not getting better, just- hovering.”
“...I don’t want to move from where I am,” Philip said quietly. Didn’t want to risk taking a step forward only for everything to crash around him, bitterer and more painful because he’d dared to allow himself to relax, to let his guard down, to hope-
“I know,” came the soft reply. “But you need to.”
Of course. It would never be that easy.
Philip sighed, folding his arms over his chest. “I was afraid of that,” he muttered.
It was over. Everything was done, Belos was dead, everything was fine.
...What now?

Summary
There’s always a learning curve when it comes to new situations. Mistakes are bound to happen.
If only his didn’t hurt so much.
It’s fine. You can say a lot about Philip Wittebane, but at the end of the day, one thing is true regardless.
He doesn’t make the same mistake twice.
(Or, 5 times Philip gets hurt for little reason, and 1 time Hunter does)
(This has to do with my AU, can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the other story)
