Summary
It's late when Grantaire staggers onto Bahorel's doorstep. He's crying, practically sobbing, because damn if it doesn't hurt to have a shirt on over the new wounds on his back, which sting sharply with every movement he makes. He's surprised he made it out of the house, let alone all the way to Bahorel's house, but he knows it's all down to the knowledge that he can't do this anymore and so he's either going to run away or off himself or something that involves getting anywhere but being stuck with his father, and his first action before that has to be to see Bahorel. The other teen is practically his brother at this point, he relies on him; Bahorel's the one who looks out for him when he most certainly isn't doing it himself and there isn't anyone else. Bahorel will help him.

Summary
Today was a meeting-that-wasn't-a-meting day. Everyone was congregated at the Musain, but rather than working on rally posters and listening to Enjolras rant, they were scattered about the room doing schoolwork. There was relative peace until Bossuet burst into the room. "Guys, help. My sister trusted me with her son." On his hip, there was a boy of about two, looking around in bewilderment.

Summary
"You could've gotten yourself killed if you'd been hit a little higher!" Enjolras snapped in response, balling his hands into fists. "You have no self preservation to speak of!" And perhaps it was just worry making Enjolras yell, but perhaps if Grantaire used his head!
"Well maybe I don't, what does it matter?" Grantaire growled. "I kept you out of danger, that's what matters to me."Series

Summary
Grantaire was playing idly with Enjolras' hair, which was growing long again. His fingers brushed the back of their leader's shoulder, slightly displacing the collar of his shirt, and allowing a black mark to be shown.
"Hey, what's this?" he asked, pushing Enjolras' collar further down, revealing more of what seemed to be black lettering. "Is this a tattoo? I didn't know you had a tattoo, Enjolras."
From across the room, Courfeyrac snorted quietly.
"Don't you dare, Courfeyrac." Enjolras said in warning.
Feuilly grinned crookedly, shaking his head. "People are going to see it sometime, Enjolras." He pointed out, sitting up just a bit to look at Enjolras, earning a frown in return.Series

Summary
Enjolras shook his head and stared back down at his textbook, once again fidgeting with his lip ring. "I'm taking these off. Object now or hold your peace."
"Actually, I am going to object. I demand you kiss me at least once before you take them off." Grantaire smirked slightly again, tilting his head to offer his lips.
Enjolras rolled his eyes, but he was smiling. "Don't think I'm going to make a habit of wearing these."Series

Summary
They'd agreed to go to sleep, and Enjolras was just unfolding his own sleep-shirt when he noted that Grantaire was taking off his shirt in front of him for once.
He sharply sucked in a breath. "Grantaire."
"Hmm?" Grantaire asked, turned, looked down at the shirt in his hand, and flinched slightly. "Shit."Thinking about it, Enjolras really didn't know much about Grantaire's past, but this really explained a lot about him, sore as that was to think.

Summary
'Grantaire was curled up in the bed, seemingly still asleep, but as soon as the light was turned on he jerked upwards and backed against the headboard, curling up tightly and covering his face with his arms, as if trying to protect himself, and what had previously been quiet whimpers suddenly became full-blown screaming.
“Shit!” Enjolras cursed.'Enjolras arrives back late to the dorms, and find Grantaire crying and screaming in his sleep. He's been told about the cynic's night-terrors - but he's never had to deal with one before.

Summary
Grantaire's not usually ashamed of his drinking. He realises it's likely not healthy, but it's helped him so far, so he's always reasoned it couldn't be that bad. But quitting is a lot harder than he realised. Today, he had finally succumb, and it had ended up here; alone in his dorm, the door locked, and barricaded just in case Bahorel were to come in and find him, and enough alcohol to drink himself into a coma. And that, he decided, was exactly what he would do.
Or at least, that was the plan.

Summary
To be perfectly honest, rally days tended to be Enjolras' favourites.
There was something invigorating about them. Maybe it was the 'rebellious' streak his parents always described him as having. But the rallies always left him in a fairly good mood - well, except on the days when a bit of violence occurred.
Days when the others could come with him were even better.
Admittedly, the days Grantaire consented to coming were the best.
(Not that it was likely he'd ever admit it to anyone, save Grantaire in private.)
Today was a kiss-in rally, so of course Grantaire was there. There wouldn't be a chance of Enjolras attending if Grantaire hadn't agreed.Series

Summary
Bossuet's constant misfortune was out in full force, despite the weather. He needed to get home for a few days, and he'd normally just take the metro and a taxi. But both the metro and taxi services, in true French form, were on strike. It was with the utmost reluctance that he told Joly he was going to take the car, and yes he'd call as soon as he arrived, and of course he'd be careful.
But two hours later it wasn't Bossuet calling Joly's cell phone, but Bossuet's brother Luc, informing Joly that he'd best come to the hospital.
