“What did you say?” she gritted through her teeth.
“You have 24 hours to make your decision before I come to collect the paperwork. If you sign it and follow all the directions, your family will be left alone, unharmed.” Jaiden narrowed her eyes. Remain stubborn. “However, if you refuse to do as you are told and you ignore your duty, then you will never see Bobby again. I also cannot guarantee Roier’s protection, either.”
“Get off of my doorstep.” Jaiden glared at the worker. They only nodded, pushing the sword out of their face before turning on their heel and walking away. Jaiden dropped her weapon, staring the worker down as they left. When they were a good enough distance, she turned around and entered the house.
“Don’t forget, Miss Jaiden. 24 hours, and I collect the paperwork.”

Summary
The first time Quackity met Jaiden, he didn’t even know her name.
The second time Quackity saw Jaiden, he spilled his guts to her.
The third time he went into that bathroom, it was the second to last day of his sophomore year. He was dragged in there by some friends, one of them being Wilbur.
On the same day, Quackity went back. It was the first time he had actually gone into the girls’ bathroom by choice, so it felt a little weird. Just as he thought, however, Jaiden was there.

Summary
Jaiden was the happiest she had ever been on Quesadilla Island ever since…she couldn’t seem to remember the last time she was happy. All she knew was that such a time existed, but there was no evidence, no thoughts that came when she tried to think of it. All she knew was that something ruined her happiness, and the Federation was there to grant her a new happiness.
She had a perfect world in this chamber. No thoughts, no fears. All feelings and emotions had been consumed by happiness and unconditional bliss.
She was happy. She was content.

.But, suddenly, her perfect world was ripped away.

“Did you not hear my first point? I’m not interested in you. Period.” Jaiden tries to turn away, but Schlatt grabs her wrist and tries to say more.
Now, what happened next was not Jaiden’s intention. She has never been a violent person and would have much rather just talked it out. But we can all agree: the guy had it coming.

“...and it’s not like you ever landed a hit on her anyways.” Quackity had started talking during Void’s explanation, so Jacob misses the first half before he zones back in. “And let me remind you that we trained under the same conditions and mentor.”
“So…what you’re saying is…” Jacob began, slowly shifting to a fighting position, “if I land a hit on you, it’ll be enough to brag to her about finally winning a fight.” He would never do that, as Giwi sighs in his ear, but he has to keep a confident front. If Quackity manages to see through it, then he’ll know he has the upper hand, and that means a huge loss for Jacob.
“Sure.” He shrugs Jaiden’s shoulders before putting the gun back in its holster. He assumes a similar position to Jacob but with an even cockier grin. “If.”

As she utters its name, the earth grants her a gust of wind, leaves, and flowers dancing in the air. Her hair flows gracefully, and she closes her eyes, allowing the breath of the Earth to run its course around her and against her skin. She knows she isn´t an obstacle--merely a divergence in the road to their non-existent destination. When the wind dies down, she smiles, calmly picking a leaf from her hair. “And the world gives back.”
