Summary
While relaxing in the Zen room, Stanley has a bit of a realization.
He and the Narrator have never actually introduced themselves to one another before, despite all the time they’ve been in the Parable together. When he points this out, more questions come to his mind, and it leaves him questioning how much he honestly knows about his place in the Parable, and who the Narrator even is.
After all, if they’ve never introduced themselves, do they even really know each other?

Summary
The Narrator, shaken by Stanley's new attitude/philosophy towards their game, struggles to grapple with the fact that his creation decided to be something without him. Faced with emotional insecurity and an unknown stance of where he's meant to fit into this new paradigm, the Narrator chooses to take back control of the Parable.
All he needs to do is convince Stanley that he's nothing without his Narrator.
And annoyingly, the only good means to do that is to feed into his delusion that he actually has the capability to care about the Narrator without his say-so.
---
