Summary
With the news of Morax's death, Kaeya starts having a new kind of nightmare and thinks his subconsciousness is punishing him for not being the one to avenge his fallen brethren. Now he just wants to reconcile with Diluc during the Windblume Festival so he can have one less issue to worry about, yet a strange demand from Venti leads him to meeting this nice Liyuen gentleman who may or may not be related to his dreams.
Zhongli has always been haunted by guilt over what happened five hundred years ago. He yearns to do something about it yet at the same time afraid that he's only going to make matters worse.

Kaeya believes he could find some answers to his dream in Liyue. He just hopes he can find those answers while keeping his real reason for going to Liyue from Zhongli.
Diluc is torn after reading Kaeya's letter. But he couldn't afford the time to think about his reply when he receives the unsettling news about a Fatui Harbinger snooping around looking for information on his estranged brother.
And Zhongli… Zhongli just wants to spend some quality time with Kaeya… is it too much to ask for?

As always, Kaeya's life is a mess. It’s nothing new to him. But it’s the first time he’s had the pleasure, or displeasure if you don’t have his sense of humor, to be the target of both the Fatui and the Abyss Order at the same time.
And on top of all that, his brain just couldn’t stop thinking about the relationship, or lack thereof, between him and the Geo Archon ever since he left Liyue.
Well, he supposes he wouldn't be Kaeya Alberich if he isn't in a crisis or two.
At least he finally reconciled with Diluc and reunited with Dain, so it's not all bad, right?

Summary
Kaeya has never wanted to confess. With all his baggage and the actions he may or may not do in the future, it would only become so much more painful when the secrets are eventually out. But he's just so emotionally tired that maybe all it takes is for the one he loves to confess first to make all his convictions and masks crumble into dust.
