“Daddy!” the voice screams and suddenly something collides with Jason’s legs. He looks down, it’s a child, black hair, brown eyes, tiny little overalls and a tiny little backpack. She’s clinging to his legs and she’s definitely talking to him.
What the shit?
“See?" She shouts pointing, "My daddy's here now and he's going to fuck you up!"
Jason looks up and sees a grown man, now stopped in his tracks, clearly having been following the girl. Jason doesn’t know what the fuck is going on here, but he doesn’t like it one fucking bit.

“Aww don’t be like that Carlo,” Roy hears from down the hall, he scooches forward to the extent of his chain and tilts his head towards the wood door. God he hates going undercover. “I’m sure-” There’s the wet sound of flesh hitting flesh and a sputtering noise.
“You killed my brother, you piece of shit,” a second voice growls. Carlo, like the voice said, he was near the top of this not so little operation, his brother had disappeared a month and a half ago to a mystery player that Roy and the rest of CBI couldn’t make heads or tails of. It looked like Roy was about to find out who that was.

Summary
The sun is dripping blood red down the sky when Roy finally catches the Red Hood. They’re far from town and the only blue left in the world is the blue in his eyes when he looks up at Roy.
Roy remembers him coltish and skinny back when things were different. Back before someone took a cattle iron to his face and killed him. Roy thinks he’s probably one of the only people left alive that remembers the Red Hood as Jason Todd.

Roy's a bounty hunter that goes after the Red Hood, Jason's a lone gunman out to avenge himself and nothing else. Things don't quite go according to plan for either of them. For Jayroy week day 5: another world.
