  Summary

  Sam, wanting to give the world to his boy, finally gathers the courage (and makes the perfect secret gesture) to ask Tommy if he can adopt him.

  It… doesn’t go as hoped.

  The blow is softened as Tommy explains that, instead, he’ll just continue to be Sam’s father.

  Um… excuse him? Huh?

  So now Sam, fully grown and fully confused, has a teenager with a strange interpretation of family attempting to parent him.

  It’s kind of funny. It’s kind of sad.
