Summary
As ambassador for the Galactic Council, Jared is on a visit to assess the remote planet Cariax as a potential trade partner, where he encounters outlaw Jensen. Despite their differences—Jared an optimistic scholar and Jensen a disillusioned thief and smuggler—their connection is instantaneous.
