Summary
Zhou Zishu's life is the closest to domestic it has been in years. He runs the recently re-opened Four Seasons Cafe, takes care of his ward, Zhang Chengling, and shares his flat and his bed with Wen Kexing.
That being said, domesticity is hard to maintain when you're a former agent of the Window of Heaven and your boyfriend is the Master of the Ghost Valley, an infamous gang. But hey, close enough for Zhou Zishu. And if being the merciless leader of a vicious gang means Wen Kexing occasionally needs to let go of his control and forget everything outside the bed he shares with Zhou Zishu, well.

Summary
Wen Kexing is a menace. He flirts, he teases, he wears leather trousers. And, when the occasion arises, he punches people in the face, too.
And Zhou Zishu kind of likes it.
In which Zhou Zishu kicks a man in the face and steals a bottle of whisky, Wen Kexing offers to foot the bar tab and takes care of the CCTV, and Zhang Chengling is in the care of his uncle, leaving the two alone in a hotel room. I wonder what happens next.

When he left the Four Seasons Cafe behind, Zhou Zishu had been certain he would never return. Qin Huaizhang was dead, Qin Jiuxiao was just over his shoulder, and there was nothing left for the newly nineteen year old orphan.
Ten years later, he's back again, anyway.
Lao Wen, Zhou Zishu thinks, might just be the magic ingredient to make a house feel like a home again. Hopefully, he can use some of that magic to make the Four Seasons Cafe successful, too.

There are very few things that could truly disturb Wen Kexing. He had rescued Zhou Zishu from the Window of Heaven and his only regret was not skinning Duan Pengju alive while he had the chance. Zhou Zishu knows this; he's pretty unshakeable himself.
Jing Beiyuan, though, had always had a habit of upsetting things.
