Dream stood behind Wilbur, the British man’s legs dangling off the edge of the cliff, overlooking the nation he had worked so hard to build.
“Understand what?” Dream asked, hands shoved into his pockets, shoulders tense, mask covering every inch of his face.
Wilbur just laughed.
AKA Dream and Wilbur talk about everything before the second war, and I just really like the parallels between their characters

Summary
The train is cold as Wilbur steps onto it, his footsteps echoing loudly in the silence. He looks around at the empty car before cautiously walking towards a row of seats.
They’re old and worn, a layer of dust gathering on the untouched seats. The fabric is red and fading, the scent of dirt and must filling the train as the doors shut behind him.
He stands there in the middle of the room, eyes closed and breathing deeply, and Wilbur laughs.
The train is empty and Wilbur is still alone, (an ache deep within himself still festering from the years he spent in isolation, alonealonesofuckingalone-) but he is out, and he will not be returning.
Finally, Wilbur has won.
Wilbur is on the train, waiting to be revived. He has a conversation with Dream about what comes next.
