Summary
Welcome to an AU that features nonstop action! A breathtaking love story! Snappy dialogue! Sidesplitting laughs! (Some of that description is not entirely accurate!) In any case, it’s a romantic comedy of sorts; H.G. of course loathes Myka to begin with, a state of affairs which by rom-com logic has an obvious corollary... and of course complications ensue... we’ll rate it mature, because while the adult characters do act like children some of the time, they also occasionally act like adults.

Summary
As promised, here is a one-shot that gives a slight continuation to the narrative that was Travel. It does not pretend to be anything but cute and sweet. It and I both delight in the fact that we live in a moment in which, in California (and several other places), Myka and Helena could be engaged and looking to buy property together. How cool is that?!?

In a story called Travel, Helena Wells got into a cab with a tall financial advisor named Myka Bering... and was, initially at least, massively annoyed by her. But what effect did getting into a cab with a staggeringly beautiful British consultant named Helena Wells have on Myka Bering? This version of the tale begins as a simple reversal of the original Travel’s Helena-centric perspective, then takes the story to some different places. Did Myka really deserve what she got at that softball game? We’ll see...
