Summary
Atsushi's fingers were trembling as he slowly raised one shaky hand to card through Akutagawa's short bangs that rested against the skin of his pale forehead, black dipped in white as it hovered over his fragile shoulders. Much like his father, the boy wore nonchalance like it was the only emotion he knew how to feel, although upon receiving the loving act of affection from the sun of his universe, eyes that shine a beautiful yellow-violet fall to a close as a ghost of a smile tingled at the corner of his lips.
This was no doubt their offspring, as far as science can even begin to make sense of any of this. But Mori said he would explain, hopefully twice so Akutagawa could listen once he recovers from his temporary heart failure. Perhaps it really was their safest bet to select the two of them first over Dazai and Chuuya; lord only knows what chaos would ensue with another Osamu running around Yokohama...
OR: After Mori flies in an ability user from France with the power to create biological offspring of any two people they touch, Soukoku and their successors are left wondering what ulterior motive the Port Mafia boss could have in bringing to life an unexpected next generation of his people.

"Jinko, I'm not mad at you. You've seen me angry, and you know damn well this isn't it," he lectures, voice frighteningly composed compared to how violently his hands shook with fury. "All I'm asking for is an explanation, and if you can't provide me that much, then just a name will do. They don't call me the black-fanged hellhound for nothing; I can track this fucker down in ten minutes tops. Perhaps five in this case, for causing you such an unbearable expression to stare at."
"Then look away," Atsushi whispers timidly, and if looks could kill, not just the angry kind, Akutagawa would have dropped dead in that moment.
Taking a step forward, the pair are standing so close that the air between them barely had any room to breathe. And just as softly as the look they exchanged as they stared into each other, one weak with reopened wounds and another burning with the urge to protect, all it takes is the whispered, "I could never," barely above a breath that causes Nakajima to implode, Akutagawa dropping his forehead to rest against his with closed eyes.

"Wait, not even her hus-?"
"Not even the husband!" Dazai cuts Chuuya off extra passionately, and now the executive really is snorting aloud. "No one, you hear me?! If any man-!"
"Or woman," the other parent adds matter-of-factly.
"-Ever asks you to undress for them, you tell them your Daddy was a former mafia executive and a master of torture. I'll cut off all their toes and shove their own dick down their throat for even imagining dirty thoughts about my mini chibi!"
"Okay, okay, ENOUGH TALK OF TORTURE! This is supposed to be a family outing!"

Despite a few mishaps along the way, the day appeared to be lighthearted and memorable for the most part as the kids met their extended family. However, it seems memorable would be the only term that will stick when Mori sends Chuuya off to take care of a threat, a mere cleanup turning out to be something much deeper than that...
