It's not even primarily/specifically because of bullying (well, from some posts I read sometime ago); more like they just don't want the fic to 'leave the containment' so to speak. In my experience people who post dark fic. spicy stuff, or first-time dead dove posters typically used the Anonymous collection feature or create a separate account. It's just sad that bad actors misused an otherwise useful feature.
