    Hi,

We had temporarily disabled images in all comments in order to address issues with bots leaving spam comments containing images. With the changes made here in these releases, we were able to re-enable images in work comments from logged-in users.

Oh, that's good to hear. (And of course, I can't find just the right kind of reaction gif to celebrate. But your icon is so hysterical it's better than anything I could ever slap here.)

      Thanks!

How do you use images in comments and fics?

      1. if you mean literally by what mechanism, i would think html code like img src (it has been many years since i used one in a fic and never in a comment but i dimly recall it just being regular html)

              Does this work?

              img src="https://pikmin.wiki.gallery/images/7/7f/Pikmin_Garden_Breadbug_render.png"

              Never mind, it didn’t. :(

        Hello,

At this time, image embedding is only enabled for comments on works. This feature is not available for comments on news posts, so you won’t be able to test or view embedded images here.

For more information on how to include images in your comments on works or in your fics, you can refer to our FAQ:
How do I post images on the Archive?
