Setting aside that it was just 2 people running for 2 seats, it isn't like the board even really does anything which is probably why no one votes in these anymore. If we go back and look at all the hot button issues over the past few years, like protecting AMT tags or AI, the board has had no relevance to any of them. At this point, I am half convinced if the board just poofed out of existence no one would even notice until the next election.
