    That was just the perfect amount of schmoopy-ness! I loved the gentle care that Dean took of Sam, and I love Sam realizing that affection is a good thing, and resolving to indulge more in it with Dean.
    Loved the 1920s sewing machine, LOL!

      thank you!! the 1920's sewing machine line was because I was trying to picture how/why sam would prick his finger, and like -- it *could* have been on an old-school loom or spinning machine, but that would stand out and dean would probably put it together much quicker. so i had a mental image of this innocuous but solid vintage Singer sewing machine on a desk, probably with a sigil half-sewn and on the needle, and sam going to grab that sigilled fabric up but getting pricked in the process.

      how the hell they're going to burn that vintage hunk of metal, i have no idea, but i believe in dean's ability to find creative ways to destroy things which hurt sammy ^^;
