    oh that's an interesting question!

    i was thinking of the curse in this case as somewhat general, that so long as someone loves you authentically their kiss would work, but i also imagined (and wrote-in) there were several varieties of the curse, so i imagine that some would be pickier than others about who's kisses "count" toward breaking the spell.

    either way i think dean would be ridiculous about it if cas had kissed him and sam woke up. absolutely jealous and insecure in that way he gets when he worries someone else might occupy a primary position in sam's life, but in denial of course and shoving it under humor and jokes and grumpiness. it would probably take some reassurance from sam (and knowing them, that would come in the form of a case and a near-death experience) to get him fully sorted out. so probably a good thing he didn't let cas kiss sam here ^^;

    (alternately if cas's kiss didn't work but dean's did? pretty sure they'd both shove that in the old Repression Box while being secretly delighted because they are codependent weirdos [affectionate]).
