   Honestly, this is just... sort of perfect. And I think that if Roger ever did learn just what all happened to his big brother at their parents' hands, he'd be horrified. So in a way, by not explaining, it's like Heinz is still being a big brother trying to protect his little brother's innocence, even as he simultaneously wants to rip off the veil and let Roger see all the nasty, ugly truth. The umbrella was pretty much the perfect touch. Extra kudos!
