    Wow. Okay. Wow.
I had no idea you'd written for Hannibal yet! Great to see, because I always love your work, and this one's definitely no exception.

Except it is an exception, because each show and film is of course different, and requires a new hand, and here again you have it.

Seriously, wow. You delved into Will in an intelligent, perceptive and enlightening way. You wrote Hannibal's voice (in particular his lines that almost sound like quotes) as if I could hear him speaking right in this room. You dealt with the subject matter with awareness and clarity. You made it interesting; I want to know more, now, I want to know what Will knows when he finds out how old Lecter was. I want to see his reaction.

"Some stereotypes are rooted in truth," says Hannibal. He tilts his head. "Some young boys dream of becoming firemen when they grow up, because they see in themselves a hero. But there are some who become firemen because they see in themselves the flame."
    and
"So few times in our lives are we able to speak in absolutes," he says. "When one such chance arises, it is our duty to take it."

These were executed deftly and with a fantastic knack for pulling his voice into odd words. Ugh this fic is good. How you do these things?
