Lord...this was quite the mood shift from finishing my chapter. Bravo on seriously unnerving me there.
Let you in on a little secret. My original plans were along the lines of just a Naruto/Bleach crossover (with One Piece thrown in next). But then, as I was brainstorming, my playlist brought up that Fialeja cover. And images of Davy Jones parrying Samehada and catching Tiburon in his claw came to me. At that point...I KNEW that I wanted a crossover far beyond what I was thinking. But yeah, I'm determined to bring out my A-game for the Cutty Sark's greatest long-term rival and nemesis...hence why I go so far to create that eerie feeling. For all intents and purposes, Jones is going to be 'The Devil' of this verse. Still, I'm glad that my version of Davy Jones is already leaving such an impact...despite only having a few 'cameos' at this point.
On a lighter note, I always do appreciate Kisame/Halibel time. Though I will say that that 'relationship' is certainly going to catch the good captain's attention...now whether he's projecting his own past on them or actually seeing something...I'll leave up to you.
I'm glad you think that I managed to create an eerie mood with this chapter. After hearing that Fialeja cover again, I was in the mood for something more haunting.
Ooh, that image of Davy Jones clashing with Kisame and Halibel sounds epic. I definitely think having so many series involved in this crossover is a good thing. It opens up so many possibilities!
So Poseidon will be like the 'God' figure of this story, while the good captain will be the 'Devil' figure that is rising in power along with the main crew? Very cool.
You are certainly doing a wonderful job of building up those two as the greatest foes the Cutty Sark crew will have to face.

But their relationship catching Jones`s attention does sound rather ominous... But, I am very interested to see how it will make things develop.
