Oh man...the nostalgia...I haven't heard Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride in years. So many childhood memories. But seriously, that was beautiful. I was walking into this chapter expecting nothing but pure comedy...but that was so much HEARTWARMING! My Ship is sailing! But seriously, it really is nice to see those two be so sweet with each other...makes for a nice change in routine at least. The audience reactions just made it better.
You know, my first prediction would be that the whole trio would sing something from Little Mermaid...and I guess I was half right. Still, few could fit Jinbe better than FATHOMS BELOW!
Well, those two are a real badass couple. So, I felt it would be nice to just see them be really cute together.
And yeah, the rest of the crew are slowly starting to ship them too, hehe. I can`t wait to see how that plays out in the series proper!
I knew that I had to have at least one song from The Little Mermaid, if this trio were gonna sing... And I felt that Fathoms Below was a perfect it for Jinbe.
I'm happy that you enjoyed the more heartwarming feel of this chapter. It was certainly fun to write!
Granted, it'll be a LONG journey for Kisame and Halibel to get to THAT level of comfort with each other...but we'll get there through all the trials and tribulations.
