    ...suddenly Luna waving her hands around to get rid of wrackspurts makes so much sense.

    This is brilliant. Legitimately considering incorporating this into my fanon ideas because it works, and having seen it, I can't think of any other explanation.

      well, there are other explanations possible, especially involving other types of neurodivergence, ie, psychosis?
      but it's more or less my headcanon that wrackspurts are overload. xenophilius (who is also autistic and psychosis spectrum) taught her that waving your hands helps get rid of the wrackspurts, since it works for him; it works because stimming helps with overload, etc.
      [not sure if wording good; just woke up myself, but yeah.]

      gotta get back to writing fic for this series at some point.
