      tbh i was torn between skipping a flashback because i HAD to know what happens next asap and then going back and reading it, but then the thought of skipping the flashback was too painful and so i soldiered on. i might've gone crazy eyed for a moment there. i also may or may not have begged my computer screen* to grant me oscar wilde-lvl reading skills at some point. repeatedly. anyway, you're a beautiful person, merciless-as-in-good-kind-of-hurt flashbacks notwithstanding.

      *so judge me, my spiritual entity of choice is undecided as of yet, thus all prayers are automatically redirected to either the nearest inanimate object and/or my spirit animal, ron swanson.
