    I'm so glad you liked it! Before I wrote it I had a long talk with my friend about families, childhood injuries, all of those things, so this story really came out of that. I've always been interested in the way Doof's childhood abuse and neglect was laughed off by everyone in his family, and Roger therefore by extension. It's amazing the way we hurt each other without even understanding it. Thank you for the lovely comment!
