   I think it's harsh to block someone with no warning just for that. Meanwhile there are plenty of smut writers who would love to get comments that aren't spam or hate. And some people are ok with those, too.

         Oh. My bad. I don't have any knowledge of said culture either; I was just giving my own opinion. I easily mistook it for being serious because some people will get blocked for little to no reason and I've heard some smut authors don't like getting those types of comments for whatever reason, so I can easily see something like this happening for real.
