   Here is the Q that few people get to see. The darker side that had allowed him to thrive in a workplace where dealing betrayal, death and murder are as common as breathing. Where the quartermaster must send people out to die and kill. Where he has to make hard calls and work with bosses who are even harder. This is the Q that lurks underneath his cold,posh, young exterior. And James love him all the more for it.

      I love writing a darker Q, or at least a Q who loses control of his usually calm self. It makes him more...human...and more like the rest of MI6.
