The blank lines thing still happens if you a) have italics (or a combo of plain text and italics) in the summary and b) are editing an older fic. I tested it with two of mine. A new one that was a draft (the entire summary was in italics) didn't do the extra space madness now, when I went to edit it (yay!). Likewise, a fic I posted in July didn't do the extra spaces thing when I went to edit it. But editing an older fic with italics in the summary (posted last year) threw in the extra spaces just like before (see here), so I had to go and edit the extra spaces out manually. So I guess it doesn't work retroactively, that fix?
...oh, wait. I went to edit it again, and the *second* time you go back in and edit the header, it won't throw the extra spaces in anymore. It's as it should be. Huh.
So, all right, I'll leave this here as a heads-up for people who have thought the bug fix isn't working.
