Kenda blinked once. Then twice. And without a second’s hesitation, she replied,“No thanks. I have no intention to rule.”
The Magi’s smile didn’t falter, it shattered. His arm slowly lowered, and for the first time in a long while, he looked… speechless. Like he’d just been slapped by the wind itself.
Kouha leaned toward his older brother and whispered in awe, “Oh no… She broke our Judar.”
Kouen, unsurprisingly, looked far too entertained.
