She's alone.
Steve hates the idea of another kid growing up alone.(In which Steve finds Eleven in the winter of ‘83, before Hopper could, and the sudden changes that pull apart his life. Some are far deeper in the bones than he ever could've imagined.)

Summary
Eddie had never been normal. Not by the current definition of it at least. That was fine with him, though. Why try to be something he wasn't? Why force himself to conform, when he'd never be the right kind of guy anyways?
Steve Harrington was that guy. Rich, popular, good with the ladies, and a total douche. At least that's what Eddie had assumed about him. Turns out that he'd been wrong. About everything, the world he was living in, the rules of physics, the existence of magic and on top of that, Steve Harrington's character.
Because Steve's apparently a total badass, and an amazing babysitter, and a total lunatic. Who else would have such a disregard for his own safety? Who else would be completely fine with the idea of sacrificing himself? And who else would truly believe that nobody would really care if he died?
Or: Eddie has a crush on Steve and while he gets to know him he realizes how fucked up the last few years have been for Steve and how protecting a bunch of kids has seriously deteriorated his sense of self-preservation. Angst and fluff ensue. Including: Steve realising that he's not straight, Eddie yearning, and someone finally putting Steve first!

Summary
Eddie Munson thought he was a goner—until a bonafide wizard stepped right off a D&D character sheet and saved the day.
It was pretty damn metal.
(Or: the one in which Harry gets stuck in the Upside Down, puts a beatdown on a swarm of demobats, and introduces Hawkins, Indiana to the strange brand of luck that follows him everywhere. And if in the meantime, he lets himself get distracted by a couple of bat-toting, head-banging boys?Well, who's going to stop him?)

Summary
You see, Rebecca was pretty sure she was stuck inside a movie or something.
It was possible she was dealing with a simple matter of time travel. (If simple could ever be used to describe time travel, that is.) Life in the lovely little hell of Hawkins, Indiana was frozen in the eighties. The fact that she had to use VHS and that the general population thought mullets were acceptable was proof enough of that.
She was definitely flung into the past, but there were a couple clues that suggested there was more going on. The main one being that she saw Winona Ryder behind a register at the general store, for one. Also, whenever someone Very Important walked by, she could hear a soundtrack made of synthesizers, so that kind of clued her in too.Series

Summary
It was really just his luck that a hulking monster lumbered out of the woods and directly onto his driveway. Just his luck that he threw enough parties when his parents were gone that the neighbors had long tuned out any noise that came from his yard. Just a nice cherry on top of the fucking cake that, even if anyone did hear him screaming when claws tangled in his jacket and pulled, Steve honestly wasn’t sure they’d have cared enough to bother anyway.
OR:
Months before El ripped open the gate at Hawkins Lab, the Demogorgon started ripping tears of its own. Months before it found Will Byers, it found Steve Harrington.

Summary
In 1983, months before Will Byer's disappearance, Steve Harrington goes missing.
It's not big news and the police say they know where he's gone, but they won't share anything else. It's something Steve is grateful for. After all, if anyone found out he was in a group home for troubled and unwanted kids, rooming with one Eddie 'The Freak' Munson, he'd never be able to go back.
But as Eddie pushes his buttons and his therapist forces him to untangle some of his twisted thoughts and memories, Steve realizes maybe--just maybe--he doesn't want to go back to normal.

Summary
Steve sighs, like he’s trying to laugh but he can’t quite manage it. “I’m sorry, man,” he says too lightly, “gonna need you to drive for a bit. I know it’s not part of the plan, but hey.” He gets out a laugh now, but all it does is set Eddie’s teeth on edge. “Henderson said you’re good at—what’s it called, in your game? Improv?”
And Eddie hates it, hates how soft Steve’s voice is, hates how the conversation is so clearly a distraction, a last ditch attempt at protection from… he doesn’t know. He doesn’t want to know.

Summary
“What the fuck are you doing out here?” Steve asked.
Billy’s teeth were rattling so hard now that he was having trouble speaking. He couldn’t explain what he was doing out there, even if he had wanted to. He couldn’t tell Steve that his mere presence in that beamer might get him killed. But that was future Billy’s problem.
“Need. To. Warm. Up.” He managed to say. “Just. Drive.”Billy finds himself in trouble and Steve is the only one around that can help. Something about the doe-eyed, floppy haired boy makes him want to be a better person. With the deck stacked against him, and the help of a few friends, Billy sets out on a path to be the kind of person Steve Harrington deserves to have in his life. This is a gritty and heartbreaking story of growth, redemption, and most of all love.
