The war had passed, and everything was finally settling down. The League, having surrendered, was the process of rehabilitation. And Dabi? He was living in a home that him and Hawks had bought so that the two of them could properly raise their children. Akari and Asahi, twins who came as a surprise five years ago but had quickly become his whole world. Besides a certain bird brain, of course.
With life becoming more peaceful then Dabi thought it'd ever be, it was time to start thinking about a future that he'd never really planned for. Life had always been in the moment while he was on the run, leaving no time to think about things like settling down peacefully in a place to call home or a future for his children that could now be at least semi-normal. Thinking about his siblings and mother. Possibly meeting them again. Introducing them to the life he'd started living all those years ago after the twins came into his, to the family he'd created in the years they thought he was dead.

Bakugou had been going to BeansPot Coffee for a long time. A hole-in-the-wall coffee shop in the middle of the city, the place was a wonderfully well-kept secret – and that was exactly how he liked it. Which was why he was instantly on guard when he walked in one morning to see a new face standing behind the counter.
Well, actually, first he saw his hair. Stop-sign red and styled up into spikes. Between that and the way-too-wide smile that stretched across his face, he was almost hard to look at directly.
Too goddamn bright for this early in the morning.
Or, pro-hero Ground Zero had a morning routine that he liked perfectly fine, thank you very much. That is, until a bright-eyed new barista showed up to throw a wrench in it, one caramel latte at a time.

Izuku freezes. Then he looks up. Todoroki Shouto is staring at him, his eyes calm but wide, dust and soot all over his face. His perfect, handsome face. He's more beautiful in person than Izuku could have imagined.
"You just saved all of us," Todoroki says again. "What's your name?"
"M-Midoriya," Izuku chokes out. "Midoriya Izuku."

Midoriya Izuku is a university sophomore, a fanboy, quirkless. On the list of things he is not: a hero.
That's why he's more surprised than anyone when he rescues Todoroki Shouto, his favorite pro hero, from a deadly villain attack. His actions fling him into the media spotlight, grabbing the attention of the entire country, including Todoroki himself. But Todoroki actually wants to get to know him past the headlines.
Izuku finds himself living a story straight out of a fairy tale, one where the mysterious, handsome prince is played by the real-life superhero he has always admired. But Izuku is convinced he's the ugly duckling, not the swan; could he ever be remarkable enough to get his happily ever after?
