Summary
Death was surprised by how quickly his new Master, Harry Potter, was to accept both his status and the cat form they inhabited. Yet, as Death spent time lazing in sun patches with their new Master, they realized that the missing shard of Lord Voldemort's horcrux did more damage than when it was sitting in his soul.
So when Lord Voldemort's baby comes traveling through time, knocking Harry far enough to rescue and adopt a young Tom Riddle before the coldness could seep into his heart, it was of little consequence when Harry was told he needed to become a woman in order to enact his great plans to save himself.

Like a camping trip, except he’ll take enough provisions for a year or so...maybe some plants, seeds and things for a little garden. When Harry Potter died from a spell colliding with a Time-Turner, he thought that might be the end of it. But then he wakes up in a strange new world so different than his own. According to death, perhaps in this life, he can finally live like he's always wished. Now in his animagus form, a Black Dragon that seemed to have no name in his world, made more sense to him than staying as a human on a deserted island. While not particularly stuck in the form, he finds survival is easier as his dragon form he's named Ebony. This is his tale of how he met a particular dragon taming boy and his Night Fury and befriended them.
