Summary
Much to Elias’ dismay, Jon doesn’t actually want to be an Archivist.
Also… well, as Georgie put it: “There are only two situations where you’d say someone ‘died in the line of duty’: if they were actually a literal soldier, or else if you’re a serial killer and you’re not actually that committed to pretending you didn’t kill them. Unless Gertrude died in a top-secret war that’s going on in the basement of the Magnus Institute, I see only one option here.”
Jon glared, but Georgie shrugged. “Sorry, Jon, I just call it like I see it. Your boss is a serial killer and you’re next on his hit list. Probably best not to take his creepy cursed job position.”
~
In which Jon and Georgie are flatmates, the archives crew rock their dysfunction to the fullest, and the only thing that resembles canon is the way absolutely no one is cishet.

Summary
Elias motioned them to sit, with the air of a headmaster dealing with children who had sorely disappointed him.
“First, I should say that I’m not averse to a little light joshing in the office. Even the odd prank is acceptable, as long as its harmless. But I’m sure you can see that I cannot possibly countenance the active hacking of a colleague’s email account, even in fun.”
This was even more baffling. Tim shared a confused glance with Sasha, but their denials were impatiently dismissed.
“Come now. Do you really expect me to believe that Jonathan Sims would actually request a leave of absence, due to ‘suspected lycanthropy’?”

Summary
The first time was an accident. It sounds mad, he knows that—how do you kiss someone on accident? It wasn't like one of them tripped and Martin caught Jon with his lips.
No, it started with an argument.

What does it mean that Martin keeps snogging his boss in the quiet places of the Archives?

Summary
Martin realized he liked keeping their relationship a secret. Martin preferred to keep important things close, and Jon had a strong desire to keep his personal and professional lives separate. Jon played up his small irritations, even including some comments on the recordings. And few things were funnier than Tim and Sasha trying to figure out why Jon hated Martin so much.
But Martin is far too in love with Jon for his own good, and he should've expected that one day, he wouldn't hide his smile at Jon's antics fast enough.
It's the beginning of the end, really.

Summary
"Come on, you've been going out for a month now, it's time to spill the beans," Tim says. "What's Jon really like, once you pry him away from that office of his?"
Martin laughs, and opts for the most ridiculous response he can think of. "What, do you want me to tell you about all his secret tattoos, or something?"
Tim's eyes bug out of his head.
"He has tattoos?"
-----
Martin tells a fib (or a few).
