“Aw hell no.”
From inside the car, Sam, James, and Zemo peer up at the bed and breakfast Google suggested they stay at. It’s perched atop a grassy hill, surrounded by skeletons of trees stripped of their beauty for the upcoming winter. The house itself is beautiful, an old gothic Victorian-type farmhouse, with updated siding and an up-to-code roof. Three stories tall, the porch wraps around the sides, outfitted with old-ish looking outdoor furniture. The windows are dark save for the first floor, the setting sun casting shadows over the angles of the interesting turrets that jut out from the frame of the roof.
It’s ten miles from the nearest town, has a 3.7 star rating, and looks like something right out of a horror film.
James puts the car in park, then turns off the engine. “Come on.”
He and Zemo get out of the car, the trunk popping open so they can get their bags. From inside the car, stuck in the passenger seat, Sam cracks the window enough to hiss loudly, “I ain’t goin’ in there!”
