George bites his tongue to stop himself from speaking out loud. If this moment was animated there would be steam coming from Georges ears, there’s just something about the way Dream makes him feel that causes his fists to tighten and face burn red with anger.
After all George has never been an angry person, he’s usually great at composing himself, but this man flicks a switch in George, one he wishes didn’t exist. It’s like as soon as Dream speaks Georges mind gets foggy because dear God would he ever just shut up.

“Well you’re not sleeping on it either,” Dream insisted. “So you either take my offer and I can sleep on the couch, or we both stay here in my room and share my bed.”
George blinked once. Then twice.
“What?” He let out, shyly taking his hand away as he looked at his friend with slightly widened eyes, surprise and confusion in his features. The American shrugged in response.
“I mean, it’s a big bed…”
“You’re serious?” He questioned, despite knowing the answer. The blond instantly nodded. He let out a soft sigh. "I can’t tell you to sleep on the couch, Dream…”
“Then we share,” his friend mumbled, shrugging again. Like it was that easy for him, like the answer was simple.
George was too tired, and couldn’t think of any other solution. So he didn’t.
“Okay,” he mumbled, nodding just once.
“Okay,” the boy said back, mimicking his gesture.
And that was that.
Then a new routine of interactions was quick to be born.
