With a little tip of their head, the nurse started out. At the door, they stopped suddenly and joined a minor chorus of fellow nurses, pointing to someone out of sight.
“You’re here!” they remarked. “I thought you and your partner went cherry blossom viewing?” They marched off for their friend, pulling the door shut with them.
That was what Ignis had been waiting for before he unveiled the disappointment and self-pity he had been nursing in a doleful sigh. With spring flowers peaking all over Insomnia, the days left to enjoy the seasonʼs boon was counting. And at the rate of Ignisʼ recovery, and the stuff he had to do in the office and for Noct, he doubted he would have any days left to enjoy himself like the others.
