Summary
A random villain-of-the-week makes Robert late for work. It's only by a few minutes, yet the encounter that hardly lasted a few seconds instills a sudden chill in Robert's bones. Its persistence is matched only by the Z-Team's stubbornness as they force their dispatcher to join them in activities they think will warm him up.
But none of it matters if Robert can't learn to believe he'll ever be warm again... or that he deserves the warmth this team brings him.

Suddenly, there’s a human-like figure appearing in front of him, floating in the air. They are made of blue light, shimmering and seeming to buzz with electricity. More light floats around what Robert makes out to be the figure's head, with long tendrils of electricity flowing around them like hair might in water. Robert has never seen her before, but somehow, the flowing color and reassuring hum register in his mind.
“You—” Robert can barely believe the words as they leave his mouth. “You’re the Astral Pulse.”

The Blonde Blazer didn't come to the rescue in Robert's fight with the burglars. Barely dragging himself out of there, definitely scathed, he attempted to drink his sorrows away and spiralled into some pretty dark thoughts.
Robert Robertson is depressed and suicidal, and struggles not to act on it. He believes he shouldn't be Mecha Man anymore, or well, even alive. Unlike in the game, he actually expresses it just enough to be concerning. How does that change the course of Dispatch?
