Protective Instincts
AU in which Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde do not meet during the night howler case. Judy solves the case on her own and Nick is away training at the academy.
As the new rookie cop on the block arrives fresh from the academy, he is paired with a partner he is less than enthusiastic about. This is the story of the two unlikely partners figuring out how to work together. Nick's wall are not lowered and Judy has to figure out how to work with a unformed conman / cop.
