LuMax (Lucas Sinclair and Max Mayfield) deserve more than being sidelined in someone else's story.

This collection is dedicated to works that give LuMax—together or apart—real significance. It includes both romantic and non-romantic dynamics, internal and unspoken connections, and character-driven stories that explore Lucas or Max individually while honoring the care and history they share.

Whether they take center stage as a pair, are emotionally present through memories or internal thoughts, or are examined through a Lucas-centric or Max-centric perspective, these stories highlight the importance of their bond. Some works share focus; others stand alone, but none treat LuMax as mere background decoration.

It shouldn’t be this difficult to find fics like these, so this collection was created to fill that gap.

What qualifies for this collection?
Works where LuMax, or Lucas Sinclair, or Max Mayfield, individually, are given meaningful narrative and emotional focus. This includes romantic, platonic, internal, or character-centric stories where their connection, care, or history still matters.

Do Lucas and Max have to be together?
No. They do not need to be romantically involved or even physically together. Internal dynamics, memory, emotional influence, and unspoken care all qualify.

Can a fic be Lucas-centric or Max-centric without the other present?
Yes. Character-centric works are welcome, as long as the story meaningfully acknowledges the bond, history, or care between Lucas and Max rather than erasing it entirely.

Do they have to be the main pairing?
Not necessarily. Shared focus works are welcome, provided LuMax is not reduced to background decoration.

What won’t be accepted?
Works where Lucas and Max are present only in name, or where their relationship has no emotional or narrative relevance, may be declined.

Are AUs, canon-divergent, or explicit works allowed?
Yes. Canon-compliant, canon-divergent, AU, one-shots, longfic, fluff, angst, and explicit works are all welcome if properly tagged.

Is this anti–other ships?
No. This collection exists to uplift LuMax-focused and LuMax-meaningful works, not to disparage other pairings.

Why does this collection exist?
Because LuMax deserve stories — together or apart — where they are treated as real, meaningful characters rather than background fixtures.

Focus
This collection is for works in which LuMax, Lucas Sinclair, or Max Mayfield, individually, is given meaningful narrative and emotional focus. Romantic and non-romantic dynamics, internal POVs, and character-centric works are all welcome, as long as their bond, care, or shared history is treated with intention.

What is welcome
Canon-compliant, canon-divergent, and AU works are all accepted. One-shots, longfic, and series are welcome. Fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, and explicit works are allowed if they are properly tagged.

Shared-focus works
Fics do not need to be exclusively LuMax-focused. Shared-focus works are welcome as long as Lucas and Max are not relegated to background decoration.

What may be declined
Works where Lucas and Max are present only in name, or where their relationship has no meaningful emotional or narrative relevance, may be declined.

Additional notes
LuMax does not need to be endgame or romantically involved. Other ships may be present. Submissions are curated to maintain the collection's focus and intent.
