Summary
It turns out that spending Valentine’s Day with Malfoy isn’t the worst thing in the world.
He’s handsome and witty and she likes the way the corners of his eyes crinkle when he smiles, which he does more often today than she’s ever seen him do.
She clinks glasses with him, and savors the feeling of the liquor as it burns its way down her throat and warms her stomach.
Hermione loses count after the third firewhiskey.
After the fifth, she loses herself, her knickers. Her mind.
OR:
When Hermione finds out her husband is cheating on her with Draco Malfoy’s wife, the two have a drunken Valentine's Day together leading to a one night stand and another unexpected surprise.

“You got your nails done?” Pansy gasps, clapping her own perfectly manicured hand over her mouth, looking wide-eyed at Granger.
Draco frowns. What’s the big deal?
He’s quickly distracted by the huge diamond twinkling on Pansy’s fourth finger. Potter had outdone himself. Though, he surmises, Pansy very well may have chosen it herself.
As his eyes shift to Granger’s bare ring finger, his chest tightens a bit and he subtly pats his pocket. Hopefully it won’t be that way for long.
Pansy nudges Potter. “She got her nails done.” Fortunately for Draco, the tipsy Wonder Boy looks as confused as he is. “Again.”

Summary
“Draco.” Granger put her hands on his face, and her voice was eerily calm again. Draco shivered as a thrill of trepidation struck him.
“Does your family by any chance use a fidelity clause in their marriage agreements?”
Draco felt like someone had clapped him over the head with a cast iron pan. Or a cauldron.
“Fuck.”
Of fucking course they did. His ancestors were really fucking weird.

Summary
She’s over the evening, over the lot of them.
With so many guests, it’s easy to slip away quietly, unnoticed. Ron certainly won’t notice.
Hermione walks down the darkened hallway and enters her usual guest room, leaving the door open a bit.
Just a crack.
Just in case.

I’m beautiful, she wrote.
Seeing it on the page, like it was a fact she was being taught, something irrefutable, sent a complicated thrill through her.
“Good.” Draco gestured to his son. “Another.”
