Summary
In a visual binary star system the brighter star is called the primary star, and the dimmer is considered the secondary. In some publications (especially older ones), a faint secondary is called the comes (companion). The orbit of the binary system can be calculated during an eclipse with the help of the stellar parallax.

"What's wrong?" Dan Heng can't help blurting out.
"I miss them," Caelus mumbles, his head against the cold window. Ever the naive innocent angel to speak his mind, he doesn't hide anything from his family that he had made for himself on the astral express.
"Don't you?" Dan Heng could lie, could have made Caelus feel better but he never wants to deceive his star, the burning in his soul refuses to let him, as if it were fire borne from Caelus himself, demanding utter devotion that Dan Heng is prone to give up readily.
Dan Heng shakes his head and leans against the window to still look at Caelus who stares at him from the corner of his eyes.
"I miss you."

Summary
Caelus was destined for greater things, Dan Heng knew it. It was as clear as the day he met him, the knowledge that his newfound companion would eventually turn to greater heights and forgo his current self. It was clear in his abilities, his ties to the Stellaron, the suddenness of everything that occurred when he entered this world.
———
Dan Heng thinks of his and Caelus’ relationship while laying in the same bed.

Summary
After Amphoreus, the fight is finally over.
Dan Heng and Caelus return to their hotel room with the exhaustion of survivors still clinging to them: scars beneath skin, memories that won’t quite fade. A shower, a quiet room, and the soft pulse of breathing are all that remain. But peace is new, and fragile.
In the hush that follows the chaos, they find words they never had the time… or courage to speak. Gratitude becomes confession; relief becomes tenderness. And when they finally let their guard down, what begins as comfort unfolds into something deeper: the realization that they have always been each other’s way home.A one-shot of quiet intimacy, healing, and the first kiss that feels like a promise.

Summary
Caelus’s vision swam slightly, blurring at the edges. His brain felt clouded, focused entirely on staying standing. He sustained a few injuries, he knew that much. Gold blood dripped slowly down from a shallow gash on his shoulder, but he didn’t feel it. He didn’t feel much of anything. The only thing that he could feel was a static. His muscles tingled and felt far away as if he had been disconnected from his body. The Stellaron in his chest thrumming faintly. There was a certain ringing in his ears as his head pounded.
It had been 4 days since he went back to the Express, since he had seen any of his family. Of course, he could never go that long without receiving a few texts from each member asking where he’s been. Faintly, that fact made him feel warm inside. He was cared about. But each message he’d just reply with some joke, excuse, or saying that he’d be back soon. Deflections and lies, mostly.

After Penacony, Caelus has had a hard time sleeping, feeling a lot of self-doubt, and has been avoiding the Express. Dan Heng eventually goes to check on him.
