The way the main characters develop themselves through 7 years after the Hogwarts war. The way one stands up for his ideal, the way his social aptitude grows, the way he holds himself, the way he sacrifies and tolerates, the way he steps one foot back to take two up. The way he lets himself change through the other's guide, the way he eases and tunes in because he gives the other a chance to prove their worth. The way he shines, the way he betters others when he doesn't even notice. The humble, endearing, driven and lonely and empathethic savior.
Do they all think that a Malfoy driven away and persecuted wouldn’t seek revenge? Or do they assume that I have the same shame at being ‘caught’ as my father does and I should spend the rest of my life licking my wounds?
Draco shrugged. It made no sense, but then again, the lack of a firm foundation to the pure-blood nonsense was a major reason for his helping Harry.
