Summary
The camera clicks off, the screen going black. The reflection of two agonized agents mirror back at them.
"Sonofabitch, man," Derek says. He runs a hand across his scalp.
"I never would have taken this case," JJ says, voice choked with emotion. "Never!"
"Why didn't he tell us?" Morgan demands. "He should have told us!"
*****
It's a case JJ never would have taken if she'd only known. Recovering from the trauma of being stalked herself, JJ convinces the team to take the case of a woman suffering the same fate.
If she'd known the husband was one William Reid, the estranged father of her best friend, she'd never have taken the case.
Especially when it becomes painfully clear how the man has hurt Spencer Reid.
