Summary
Inspired by the movie Obsession (2009)
Jacob and Edward are happily married and have just recently bought a new house to raise their surrogate child in. Jacob's taking some time off to be a stay at home husband to take care of the young baby and Edward's career is flourishing more then enough to take care of them all and then some. Things are really great for them.
That is until Edward is, apparently, just a little too nice to the new hired temp in the office Bella Swan. Now she's harassing him, insisting they are in love, lovers, and that Edward would obviously leave Jacob for her one day.
Edward is just desperate to keep it all secret for fear of Jacob believing her.

Summary
Jacob and Edward have been natural enemies for years, but a series of clashes between their clans forces them to collaborate when the Volturi begin to move into Forks. Despite initial mistrust, an intense attraction arises between them, confusing both Edward and Jacob. At first, they both try to ignore it, attributing their feelings to tensions between their species.
However, Jacob's heat suddenly kicks in in the middle of a night patrol, and Edward, unable to resist the force of the chemistry between them, ends up giving in to his Alpha instincts. After an intense night together, Edward becomes conflicted with himself, unable to understand why he feels the need to protect and claim Jacob.
