“I think something is happening to me, Alfred,” Thomas says. His sobriety holds out for just a second; his eyes bleed black again. The cocky tilt to his jaw returns. The feeling of him swells, heating the room around him.
Alfred reaches out, grasping Thomas’ forearm. He squeezes until Thomas’ eyes return to the present. “I’m here."
Thomas’ answering smile is a night sky, devoid of stars but all the more brilliant for it.
“I know.” Then: “I need you to be.”

Summary
Normally, alternate universes can be a fun time. Few stakes, an exploration into what could have been, and sometimes it leads to entirely unique and wonderful adventures that never could have happened otherwise. Unfortunately, it seems as though Dick's drawn the short straw this time after getting kicked into a stray portal during a fight. After nearly falling to his death, it swiftly becomes clear that he's farther from home than he ever has before. The other people there aren't even the same species as him. They didn't scent, they didn't have both sexes and orientations, and he had a month to get home before his heat was due to hit.
He could do this. He could find a way home, or find a way to make things better for himself in this strange universe until his own universe could find him again.

“I’m gonna die,” Kon mumbled, his voice thick with desire and distress. “How am I meant to get intel when I’m dead because you’re too hot?” He looked at Tim in the mirror, his eyes wide as he watched his boyfriend meticulously adjust his little side bangs to blend seamlessly with the extensions.
“Well, I’m the one who’s actually going to be flirting with the evil ambassador,” Tim reminded him calmly, turning around in Kon's hands to face him, the hem of the dress swirling around his legs. His elegantly gloved hands—a necessary touch to complete the illusion—moved immediately to adjust Kon’s slightly crooked tie, correcting the minor imperfection with automatic precision. “You’re just there to look pretty and cover me if anything goes wrong. No one will question Lex Luthor’s son at a gala with a girl.”

That’s when Tim listened a little closer, isolating a quick, shallow stutter in Kon’s breathing, and then the muffled sound of fabric scrunching. “Kon, are you jerking off right now?”
That earned him a low groan. “Y-yeah,” He said, the word coming out a little strangled. “Was doing it when you called, thought I’d just finish up really quick, but you know me too well, huh?” He said.
Tim’s face flushed hot, suddenly feeling the damp, unbearable friction in his boxers. “What? You couldn’t wait until tomorrow?” Tim asked, a slight cockiness in his tone.
“Baby, I’ve been suffering without you,” Kon said.
