Summary
A first person OC/Reader X Simon "Ghost" Riley story, and a stylistic retelling of the COD MW2 campaign, that extends beyond the already captured events, and explores the relationships, personalities and ideas of the franchise’s major characters.
"Unmasked" spans across many years, and is full of that slow-burn, angsty goodness, and follows an original character (you!) as she rediscovers dormant feelings for a man (Ghost!) from her past:
'Simon Riley made quite a mark on you when you first met him, young and fresh-faced, both of you finally commencing your military journey. Although you haven't seen him in many years, and are sometimes unconvinced that he really ever existed, you think about him often, particularly when you are around the infamous soldier "Ghost", whose mannerisms seem oddly familiar.' -
