Summary
A collection of paper tumbled out of the record sleeve and onto the coffee table. Parchment of varying quality, scraps torn from lined notebooks; some folded into pocket-sized squares, others rolled into tight scrolls. Remus’s hands shook as he sifted through them.

In 1987, Remus finds the letters Sirius never sent to him, and loses what little hope he had of moving on.

Summary
Less than a week into the new school year, a loud knock disrupts the quiet of the fourth-year Slytherin boys' dormitory. The last person Regulus expects to find on the other side of the door is his (somewhat) estranged older brother, Sirius, his handsome face bloodied and bruised.
Even more shocking than Sirius's sudden appearance, is his request - if they'd be so kind, could he bunk with them in Slytherin 'for a bit'?
His brother's refusal to explain his abscondence from Gryffindor is irksome, but Regulus lets him in regardless, confident he'll unravel the mystery in due time. After all, Sirius has never been very good at keeping secrets from his younger sibling, and Regulus can be *very* persuasive when he wants to know something.
Unbeknownst to the Black brothers, however, their choices in that moment set off a chaotic chain of events that will have lasting repercussions for The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, and change the trajectory of their lives for good.

Summary
Remus is a Uni student at Hogwarts. He has settled down in the nearby town of Lonards and has a few friends he hangs out with. Mainly, a blonde boy who influences him with his passion for Goth culture, and Lily, an old friend of his that he had found out goes to his university.
He had always been somewhat of a loner. He was the boy who spent most of his time in libraries, bookshops and record stores. He didn't seem to mind that assumption for 19 years of his life but when his birthday approaches, he feels the need to branch out. He applies for a job at Diagon Records & he finds strange co-workers that he becomes friends with but the most evident change comes when Remus finds an irresistible stranger on his ride home, and what could an introverted boy like him possibly do at such a sight?
>This story is discontinued. Check note last chapter for more info. I counted it as finished since the last missing chapter is not necessary as the couple is already together by then.

Summary
"You’ve claimed the shit bed,” Sirius says from the doorway.
Remus looks up, suddenly aware that for the first time in years, it's just the two of them.
“You don’t like sleeping next to the door.” It comes out before he can think of something different. A fact he’d learned when they were twelve, the first summer they all stayed with the Potters’.
He should be embarrassed, remembering something like that, but Sirius tilts his head. Bright-eyed and soft. He smiles, and it’s worth it.

Or, an unexpected invitation reunites Remus with his friends at a cottage in the Scottish Highlands.

Summary
Remus loves Sirius, and Sirius loves Remus.
That’s just the way it is—call it a law of the universe or just the way the world works—but after four years away, Remus gets a call from Sirius asking him if he remembers a promise they made freshman year.
And, of course, Remus remembers. How could he not?
Something like a love story from the summer of 1978, full of Southern Cuts and Old Style, shitty motel rooms, and questionable decisions. Poor excuse for poetry and late night dancing, a trip to Vegas, and one too many honeymoon suites.
Cherry pop rocks, too-tight pants, and a road trip across the U.S.

Summary
Remus wasn't sure how to describe what he was doing. Running away would have been the most honest explanation, but that would have begged the question of what he was running from, and he didn't have an answer for that. He was starting to suspect, after two and a half years on the road, that the only thing he was running from was the one thing he could never escape – himself.
When Remus walks into a strange little hostel called Marauders' Rest, beside a remote New Zealand beach, everything changes. He finds a community. He finds himself settling in. And he finds Sirius Black. But when a child goes missing, Remus makes a split-second decision that puts everything he's come to love at risk.
