Zuko hesitates with the edge of the knife poised over Sokka’s scalp.
“What?”
“You said how you wear your hair says a lot In the Fire nation.” Sokka holds still so he doesn’t get scalped, and so unfortunate side effects of being so close to Zuko aren’t revealed, but it’s desperately hard to not lean over and elbow the omega. “So what’d your ugly ponytail say?”
