Summary
As Tim is beginning to settle into life in Blüdhaven, going back to school, and assisting with patrol in the evening. Thing finally feel some kind of normal.
Then he get news that his parents are out on bail and want to see him again.

Darla makes a face at the reminder, “Ugh, don’t remind me traitor, moving to Blüdhaven! How could you!”
“I don’t think he had much say in the matter.” Bernard joins them on the way to class, “Ives is sick by the way, I don’t know if you saw the group chat already.”
“I haven’t.” Tim confirms, he’d fallen asleep pretty quickly in the car and hadn’t checked the chat that morning. “Is it just a cold or?”
“Just a cold.” Bernard states. “He’s okay.”
“Good.” Tim quickly side steps a couple boys racing down the halls.
“Did you hear the news yet?” Darla asks, “Your parents made bail.”
Tim nods, Dick had told him as soon as he’d gotten the news. “Yeah I’ve known for a couple days.”
“What happens now?” Bernard asks. “Like do you go back? Are you going to have to see them?”
“I’m not going back.” Tim states, his pulse speeding up at the thought.

Summary
Tim Drake is on the way home from school when he's taken by a group of strange men. When he comes to he's tied up in an unfamiliar house.
With his captors failing to reach his parents for ransom, he's able to escape, only to discover he's no longer in Gotham, and he has no way home.

“I could, but that’s the fine if you don’t come over next weekend.” Jason explains. “Because now B’s going to be all broody this weekend, and if I have to deal with that two weekends in a row, I get to eat your chips.”
“Alright, fine I’ll come over next weekend if you're so…” Dick trails off as he notices something strange on the sidewalk in front of him. “Jay I’ve got to go, I’ll call you back.”
“Dick, Wha-” Dick hangs up before Jason can finish, he feels bad, but this is more pressing. A small figure is trudging through the storm, occasionally stumbling like they’re injured. Far too tiny to be an adult.

Summary
Tim never wanted to be Robin. He never wanted to bear the responsibility the mantle of Robin came with. He was literally training to be a Rogue like his adoptive mom Selina Kyle.
But someone had to ensure Gotham's rightful protector didn't fall apart after Jason's death. So Tim did what needed to be done and became Robin.
And minus a brief break when he was 16 he's been Robin for 6 years. But having successfully ensured that the Justice League could bring Bruce back he was ready to leave the mantle behind. Besides, with Damian as Robin now he's not needed.
It's time to go back to where he belonged. It's time to go back to being Stray.

Tim Drake is a meta and he low-key hates it. . .ok, he blatantly hates it. But being a meta with his specific skills and intelligence does occasionally help. When it's not a major inconvenience anyway.
Or Tim is petrified of his idols (the Bats) finding out they have an incredibly powerful meta living next door alone while his parents are who knows where.
