Yall I am so sorry that I haven't updated this in like so long I don't really know how to continue it because I suck at writing and I know I am most likely gonna get things wrong because I haven't seen TBP in awhile now same as Stranger Things so I am so sorry if some things end up being wrong I will try get it as accurate as possible, some characters might be out of character too.

As for why I haven't been updating, things have just been a lot recently, Ive been back at school for nearly 2 weeks now, today is my birthday (I'm officially 13) and ive just been struggling, things have been tough and I haven't had the energy to write because I really wanna make this fic good and I don't wanna rush it because I do wanna make this as good/accurate as I can.

I promise I will continue this, I'm just not sure when and how often I'll update, depending on how things go, I might try to get one chapter out a week, I cannot promise that I will that is just what I hope to do, I am going to start another fic too, not a long one, just a short one that is only gonna be a few chapters long, it's gonna be a Griffin & Vance step-brother au, on how they become step-brothers and their relationship developing over the years, Briffin & Brance might be included!.

I'm sorry that this isn't another chapter of the actual fic, I just thought I should explain why I haven't been updating and I felt like I at least needed to do something I havent touched this fic in some long, so, goodbye and Happy Birthday to me! :)

Notes:

I'm so sorry that this first chapters short- the rest of them will be longer I promise, currently I'm trying to plan them out, the others will be longer & better (I hope) if you have any suggestions/ideas/tips then please tell me, this is my first fic so it might be bad, I will most likely redo this sometime in the future when I'm more experienced with writing on this.

Just to clarify - Steve is not Finney, there two seperate people and not related at all. Robin Buckley is the Grabbers daughter, she was 10 when The Black Phone took place and that's why she moved to Hawkins. Vance is Hoppers nephew, Vance was 15 when he died, Hopper didn't find out about his death until the year after when he called his sister asking about Vance and she told him he was dead. Hopper is aware that Robin is the Grabbers daughter, the others have no idea what happened in Denver, Nancy knows a bit since she tends to do all detective things like that but she doesn't know the full story or that Robins dad was the one kidnapping & killing all the kids.
